This owl is an entire mood, and I love him so much. I need this as a poster.

Reminds me of this story-- reality doesn't care about the triangle rule or the law of thirds or the golden ratio, or what have you. Reality just... is.
Things I've seen on tumblr and have never found again: someone asks an artist "why do you always draw feet likr thst?" and the artist doesn't understand, that's literally just what feet look like? And they go back and forth, artist vs tumblr community, on whether the eay they draw feet is normal (as artist insists) or not (as consensus agrees). The artist asks if this is a prank, since Did this many people really gang up just to try and convince them that the way they draw feet is weird the disagreement continued everyone else saying no you just draw feet in a weird way and the artist insisting that they are just normal feet like that they are just normal feet, their feet are like that, everyone in the family has feet like that and so they posted a foot photo of their own foot side by side with a drawing of their foot from the same angle and it turns out that the artist and everyone in their family has a mild form of the same genetic foot arch deformity.

It's deeply tempting to respond to the "well, actually", to the cruel assumption, to the unjust accusation, to the odious viewpoint. It's tempting because you're defaulting to the etiquette if dinner conversation. This isn't a dinner conversation. Someone is shouting at you from a moving car. Turn away.
