On 13th November 1968 John Manke was in the pilots seat of the Northrop HL10 for its 13th flight. The vehicle achieved a speed of 843 KPH from 13,000 meters. 3 failed attempts were made to ignite the Reaction Motors XLR-11, 4 chamber rocket engine during the 6 min 25 sec flight Photos & info NASA.

Good job France.

Supermarkets donate to Olio here in the UK but unfortunately just a few (as it's not law).

Hopefully it will be law one day.

Food dates are just guesses and/or when the food is at it's best - Best Before. So many things can be frozen or eaten within the next few days.
In other news: France becomes the first country to force all Supermarkets to donate unsold edible food to charities to feed the poor. France is urging the world to rethink waste—and showing how policy can support both sustainability and social justice.

Trump would never allow this here. 🤬
