The vehicle, Paresev 1B fitted with a 400 square foot Dacron wing, carried out a ground tow test. The nose gear was damaged during the landing. Photos & info NASA.

Additional note. The disappearance of Colonel Zachary Smith (USAF) M.D., has been reported, as has an attack on a U.S.A.F. Security Police guard. It is not known if the two incident are connected.

On the 16th of October 1997 the Jupiter Two deep space mission under the command of Dr. John Robinson left the earth on its long journey to Alpha Centauri. Along with Dr. Robinson the crew consisted of his wife Maureen, his daughters, Penny and Judy and his son, Will.
