It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office.

Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.

Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

When I talk to family that either voted for this circus or wanted to stay “neutral”:
I’m honest about how exhausting it’s making everyone I know. How scared, sad, angry the communities I work with are. It makes them hella uncomfy. My advice? Keep making people uncomfortable. It’s not nothing

I think some people hear “grants” and think that without them, scientists and government workers just have less stuff to play with at work. But grants fund salaries for students, academics, researchers, and people who work in all areas of public service.

“Pausing” grants means people don’t eat.
White House pauses all federal grants, sparking confusion
The Trump administration has put a hold on all federal financial grants and loans, affecting tens of billions of dollars in payments.

To honor one of the most compassionate Americans we've ever known, consider an act of kindness today, for a loved one or even a stranger, however small.

Be the reason someone feels seen today. Sometimes all it takes is a kind word or a sincere gesture.
