yuri mecha where the space mecha fights reflect real life 21st century long-distance warfare (cyberwarfare, drones, high speed missiles, etc). instead of being super close together they are planets apart
i think the vague throughline of "MECHA COMBAT HACKER" in tabletop mech games is kinda funny considering how there's maybe like one, or two, actual examples of it in mecha
