It's back: the season where we add eggnog to every drink to figure out if it enhances the flavor or not.
It's a liberating feeling knowing that I'm mostly off the hook for reading online articles because such an enormous percentage of them are generated by AI now. I don't have to excavate my way though blocks of ads anymore, because I know it probably isn't a person's voice I'm missing.

This post incited a passionate discussion with my partner about what our new accessory items should be when we turn 40, which incited a different discussion about whether or not a himbo counts as a witch's familiar or an accessory item and I don't know which is funnier.
My friend just fuckin showed up with a corncob pipe & that’s when it hit me that we are all in our 40s which means we get one new accessory slot

Doctor's offices NEED human beings with a certain medical background on phones, even to schedule appointments and at front desks. Aside from the need for important social mannerisms, there are a lot of medically adjacent questions that AI can't and shouldn't understand or explain to a patient.
I really think this kind of thing is a bad idea, because who wants to start a relationship *with a doctor’s office* by realizing the first thing that happened in that relationship is that they tried to trick you?
I went to make a doctor’s appointment today and got transferred to an AI “person” and I can’t overstate my revulsion when it fooled me for the first ten seconds, so that I was trying to be friendly and pleasant, and I realized it I was trying to be polite to a machine.

The Coffin’s Tale~ more designs for @realgdt.bsky.social FRANKENSTEIN! The coffins were based on real Fisk coffins of the time & great ref pitched by awesome Costume Designer @katehawleycostume.bsky.social (an example of wonderful collab between depts) & worked up to final design through art dept.
