Anne Frank died of typhus she contracted in Bergen-Belsen Concentration Camp. Not the gas chambers.

Dilley Concentration Camp currently has a measles outbreak. It's full of women and children.

Abolish ICE. Dismantle DHS. End the Holocaust Republicans are beginning against immigrants.

I will give Suozzi more credit than he gives himself. He knew what the vote was. He just figured the way to "win" was to support the funding because that's more "centrist" and buck the Democratic majority. But morally, he knew what this was about. He ended up wrong morally AND politically.

Today's vote to advance our resolution to block further military action in Venezuela was significant.

We'll now have a full debate on the Senate floor over the President's use of U.S. military forces, and a mission that seems to be far more about oil revenues than drugs.

Today, we launched our Unrig Washington campaign, a bold new standard for Democrats to show voters that as a party we're serious about cleaning up Washington.

So far, 83 Democratic candidates and Members of Congress have joined this campaign.

I am SO pumped that my bill, the three-year extension of the ACA tax credits, passed the House. The time is always right to do the right thing.
January 9, 2026 at 12:40 AM
🙏
The House did the right thing by extending ACA subsidies and stopping health care costs from exploding for 20 million Americans. The Senate must pass it next.

Short-term relief matters — but long term, we must fix our broken health care system and move toward Medicare for All.
Breaking news: More than a dozen House Republicans joined every Democrat to pass a bill extending enhanced Affordable Care Act subsidies for three years — the sharpest GOP break with party leadership yet.

It's an old and obvious pattern. An unpopular president - failing on the economy and losing his grip on power at home - decides to launch a war for regime change abroad.

The American people don’t want to “run” a foreign country while our leaders fail to improve life in this one.
