The dairy industry isn’t just environmentally toxic or nutritionally outdated. It’s morally bankrupt. And the longer we protect it, the more damage it does.

Well done for the relentless pressure on the government to do the right thing. Something which is obvious to most people with a 💚
If this is true - this should have happened a long time ago.

The Green Party alongside campaigners have been calling for this - and it's good to see maybe they've finally listened.

Once every 20 years or so, the director-general of the BBC is forced to resign for being insufficiently rightwing. Alastair Milne in 1987. Greg Dyke in 2004. Tim Davie in 2025. The great irony is that the BBC was in all cases profoundly biased towards established power. But just not biased enough …

I’m no great fan of the ACA.

I believe we should guarantee health care as a human right through a single-payer Medicare for All system.

But — at minimum — we cannot allow Republicans to destroy our already-broken system by doubling insurance premiums for 20 million Americans.

“At a price you’re happy with” is doing some extremely heavy lifting in that sentence. Typical of Labour to assume that “the price I pay” is “the price I’m happy to pay”.
Surely there are some better arguments on the pro landlordism side of the debate than implying that if a landlord doesn't own the house, the house ceases to exist??
