Today a giant "The Greens don"t care about women in sport" billboard truck went down Sydney Rd, and later my Labor local minister's office called me for the first time ever. From this, I assume the major parties are shit scared that the Greens will win Brunswick this election.

In summary, I really dig @bagelradio.bsky.social

My second favourite thing about @bagelradio.bsky.social is hearing a song by a band I've not heard and thinking, "jeez that sounds like the band xxx". And then guaranteed, Ted will play a song by xxx right after as a nod to the similarity.

The thing I like most about @bagelradio.bsky.social is that whenever Ted plays The Smiths, he will ALWAYS back announce that Morrissey is a hostile bigot.

I think I would very much like to drive one of those lil' luggage hauling low riders at the airport. Just a wee spin about on the tarmac.

The person who named the hotel chain "Ibis styles" either a) has never seen an Ibis (clearly very unstylish) or b) they very much know and are expectation setting

I think the general internet argument view of “you have emotion about this event har har, you’re triggered, you have an emotional response to cruelty har har” has been a complete disaster for humanity both for the person being told that and for the person saying it

The knockoff handheld I bought from a dollar store is both way worse to use than I imagined but also has far more features than anticipated.

2 months from now, the writers for The Boys season 5 are watching how US Politics is playing out: "damn they stole our entire story arc"
February 6, 2025 at 7:19 AM
I've heard from many people worried that the US #DEIA witch hunt will affect our industry and progress here in Australia.

I don't have an answer.

But - I am heartened because worry means they care.

Caring that we don't backslide is a good thing.

We need to harness that care into action.

Thankfully, #WCAG won't have to change its acronym when the #DEIA witch hunt begins!

They'll just have to change their name to the Web Content All-lives-matter Guidelines

What if #UX was a means to an end, and that end was reached a while back? And the end was really not an end at all? (1/7)
