Finally got through "Inception" with my son after multiple attempts due to his dozing off. His sleeping was not due to disinterest but being incredibly busy/exhausted. Cool he had a bunch of follow up questions, which shows he was fully immersed in the story. Reminds me how good this movie is.

Reality Check: The Carolina Hurricanes still lead the Metro division in the NHL. Calling for RBA's head seems a bit premature. If this stuff happens with a fully healthy roster, by all means, but right now is not the time.

To combat recent 3rd period futility, the Carolina Hurricanes look like they will start their worst goalie and play 7 defensemen. You can't cough up a lead, if you never have one. Will be tough for me to muster any optimism at puck drop tonight. #LetsGoCanes

I would recommend watching the Counting Crows documentary "Have You Seen Me Lately?". Nothing Earth shattering but does a good job of limiting the scope to the time during first 2 album releases. Plenty of celebrities chime in. Solid.

Extremely disappointed in my alma mater, UNC. A slew of phenomenal applicants from western Wake County were rejected from their application process this week. Shameful. Oh yeah, they still employ Bill Belichick too.

I was surprised by the iOS 26 update on my iPhone last night. I do not care for the Liquid Glass design. Luckily, I was able to tone it down a bit by doing to Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size, then turn on "Reduce Transparency". Made things closer to what I was used to.

I don't subscribe to the idea that the Canes lacked a "spark" according to Mike M/Tripp/AGold/etc. Saying "spark" prevents discussions about why the goals have dried up. Line changes might help but I bet that the only change coming is adding Slavin. Any line changes will be after his return.

Keep seeing references to UNC beating Kansas/Kentucky in a season for the 1st time since 82. That 82 Kansas team lost like 8 of their last 9 games. Far cry from Danny and the Miracles.

Thought I was ready to turn off RC4 Encryption support on our domain, but I keep finding new and exciting things that keep using it. Good to know that it will be turned off by default next year. Gives me some great leverage with app owners.

If I'm going to complain about the bad Svech stories, I should be complementary of the more accurate ones. This is much closer to what actually happened. Doubt he wants to be traded away from the team with the 2nd best record in the NHL while playing on the top line.
32 Thoughts (Nov 24): On Svechnikov, when he wasn't playing much to start the year he told CAR if they wanted to trade him he wouldn't be opposed to it. They told teams they don't want to trade him & it would take a monster offer. It has sorted itself out now. #CarolinaCulture #NHL

Wasn't this updated? Pretty sure I heard Svech and Rod dismiss this separately. Now that he's playing on the top line and scoring, this is resolved and no longer news.
