At this point I actually hope Trump does the coup attempt and then the military court martials him and together with congress moves to hang him. Only solid solution to a dictator is to end them using other state organs.

I used to say “corporations should be terrified of a government’s power” but I didn’t mean random tariffs.. just the ability to like bargain procurement deals and protect consumer rights. Sigh

I wonder how much of the sudden acceptance of age verification would have been avoided if major digital platforms hadn't monopolized access, eroded privacy to the point that one more layer of surveillance feels minor, and stewarded their spaces so poorly that nobody sees value for children in them
