A POGase is a huge advance in the glycomics field, which has typically relied on chemical or incomplete enzymatic releases (no Sia).
Expect a lot of multi-omic studies enabled by this (N-glycomics, O-glycomics, and proteomics) since the peptide backbone is left intact.
