95km cycling around Lille by our colleague @yguerardel.bsky.social today, following glucose's path. Rough pavements between C1 and C2 & headwinds between C5 and hemiacetal oxygen.

Next goals: add the C6 and train hard for sialic acid (9 carbons😓)!

🌾 Our new research shows that vibrational spectroscopy (FT-IR) effectively monitors flax dew retting, crucial for high-quality fibers. Using multivariate analysis, we identified key spectral changes, revealing more candidates than traditional methods. tinyurl.com/3sjdnb29

How are calcium and glycosylation linked? Dr. Foulquier’s team reveals SLC10A7’s role in balancing calcium in the ER & Golgi, essential for proper glycosylation. SLC10A7 regulates COSMC/C1GALT1, impacting mucin-type glycosylation. More coming soon!

New MassiveFold release 1.4.0: it is now possible to model ligands and glycosylations with AlphaFold3!

MassiveFold is a software for molecular structure prediction with AlphaFold2, ColabFold and AlphaFold3.
