Democratic party messaging needs to constantly hammer on the evident fact that Steven Miller is masterminding White House policy right now. Trump is only a figurehead, Sharpie-signing anything Miller puts in front of him.

“The skies over the Caribbean have become increasingly crowded in recent weeks, as the U.S. military has sent more aircraft and equipment to the region as part of the military buildup against Venezuela.”
The pilot of a JetBlue flight reported on Friday that he narrowly avoided colliding with a U.S. military aircraft over the Caribbean after an Air Force refueling tanker passed in front of the commercial plane without broadcasting its position, according to air traffic control radio communications.

In post-Roe America, abortion providers and their patients face "a lot of pressure" and "a lot of stereotypes," says @soledadobrien.bsky.social. Her new documentary, "The Devil is Busy" sheds light on "the actual people in these clinics," and the realities of reproductive healthcare. #Velshi
Soledad O'Brien: 'The Devil is Busy' gives “a more nuanced picture” of abortion providers
The new HBO documentary “The Devil is Busy” looks at the difficult daily work of abortion providers working under strict restrictions in Atlanta. Executive producer Soledad O'Brien tells Ali Velshi that with abortion becoming a highly politicized issue, she wanted to show "who are the actual people in these clinics, and what they do day in and day out." The documentary's focus on providers and patients, rather than higher level discussions of policy, O'Brien explains, aims to provide "a more nuanced picture of what's actually happening" in post-Roe America.

The current Supreme Court has forfeited all legitimacy.

Democrats (and everyone) need to address that reality.

John Roberts > Roger Taney.

Court needs to expand. And have fixed terms—like *every* other supreme court in developed world. And have ethics rules, like all normal organizations.
