If there’s one thing I hope everyone is learning with all the dismantling of DEI initiatives is that no corporation is going to save us. We are the only ones that can save ourselves through community.

It's weirdly difficult to remember that Trump's popular vote margin was /less/ than Hillary's in 2016. Biden got more votes in 2020 than Trump got in 2024 and Trump surrogates all under-performed in congressional races.

This is not a mandate, I don't get why it is being portrayed that way.

Can a work of art ever truly be "subversive" in an environment where people are so determined to miss the point

If you are a federal worker being offered a buyout, I would advise against taking it.

Of course, this is a personal decision for everyone and it’s your choice.

But these offers are a rush job. The legality is questionable and this admin does not keep to its word.

They aren’t firing for a reason.

If you're feeling overwhelmed, it's intentional. They're calling it "flooding the zone." The intent is to overwhelm and exhaust us so we can not effectively resist. Something simple you can do right now now is to make sure to take breaks and rest.

Do you ever get the feeling that Earth gravity is...a bit much? Tripping and falling should not be as big of a deal as it is.
