Tech’s #1 push my entire life has been monetization via ad algorithms. My older millennial ass is already teaching my toddlers how evil ads are, I assume many people are as angry with the bonkers amount of ad intrusion in our lives. Hoping the all in on evil proves to be too much for enough folks.

Klein and Thompson rightly recognize the overly litigious legal system is part of the problem. But it should be front and center. The path forward isn’t deregulation; it’s legal reform. Who can sue. Where disputes are heard. What happens when plaintiffs lose. Who can afford legal representation.
