It is not. I accept automated systems on tracks; the intraterminal subway at the Atlanta airport, for example. But cars on roads shared with human drivers, crossed by pedestrians? No thank you.

Seriously, though: tell me who all is getting hurt if there are more APs than you can keep up with and then maybe I'll consider the question. The article's author admitted in footnotes that they've got a hustle mindset; not everything needs to be about money (thank gods!).
