If you see this (and you want to), quote with a title screen that's iconic to you.

Could he travel back to 2016 and save the USA in this universe?

I boop, and offer a snoot in return.

In a reasonable world, these would relate to one another in any way at all.

All the oohs, aahs, and OMGs apply, y'all. Daggerheart has arrived in the building.

I haven't paid the cat tax recently, so here's my payment. Barbara napping.

Barbara (Gordon), loafing around the house.

How about a picture of our German Shepherd, Midnight aka Princess Prissypaws, delicately tromping through the show from last month?

That baby shouldn't have been in that raccoon's home in the first place.

Ok we're posting dogs today. My contribution: Ziggy, my best pal. He has since flipped around to nap while snuggled up next to me.

Did this come back around? Ok then. 67 for me.

Thinking about using or posting genAI content? Remember the words of Batman:
"This is the weapon of the enemy. We do not need it. We will not use it."

Leaning far the other direction was Earthdawn, a fantasy game set in a world where cosmic horrors are fading from the world, leaving behind a changed Earth to be explored by the survivors who hid away for generations in secret enclaves. A quickstart for 4e is available from fasagames.com.

Pathfinder is currently on their 2nd edition with a remastered rule set that breaks the final ties of being a d20 derivative. Innovative mechanics, deep customization of characters, crunchy but not math heavy in the process. It's just damn good.

Traveller is the seminal sci-fi RPG. For decades, this game has given us interstellar adventures in one of the most vast, detailed settings out there. Currently published by Mongoose, there have been multiple versions of Traveller to enjoy.

Meanwhile, people in Sweden were playing the game we now know as Dragonbane, a simpler and wilder fantasy RPG published by Free League. Magic, mirth, and mayhem is the point, and this roll under game makes that very easy.

If we're talking about games I love, I have to mention the first one for me, the Basic D&D Red Box. Got me into the hobby, opened up my mind to possibilities, and sharpened my imagination. ❤️🐉

One of the first superhero RPGs really set the bar high for everything that came after it: TSR's Marvel Super Heroes game. Known as the FASERIP system for its character attributes, the game used a resolution table to set difficulty ranges and determine the results of rolls.

Can't talk about deep archives of lore and giant stompy mech action without mentioning BattleTech. Generational political drama across the galaxy, honor, intrigue, and then BOOM massive robot fights! Hell yes. Multiple games under this IP, and I've enjoyed most of them over decades.

Sci-fi military action in a wild galactic setting that swings from humor to sheer grit in a heartbeat, with truly alien beings and massive war machines? Battlelords of the 23rd Century is supported by their own percentile based system and Savage Worlds.

Cyberpunk with magic? Yes please. Shadowrun has been a part of my life since 1st edition from FASA. The various editions over the years have each had their eccentricities, but the setting is richly detailed.

Few games are as polarizing as GURPS, but if you want a game that will let you fine tune a character from any genre, and I mean ANY genre, GURPS is your game. Crunchy, point buy for nearly everything, 3d6 roll under resolution, and the MOST materially supported TTRPG ever. EVER.

Mutants and Masterminds is in the middle of the field of superhero games in terms of crunch vs ease of play. It's a d20 game with classes, power level to gauge relative power, and a deep well of power choices and options. Not as flexible as a point buy, but it's easy to get into.
