The older I get, the more my politics mature from childish, naïve beliefs like "the world is complicated and leaders have to make hard decisions" to more serious, adult principles like "hurting people is bad and helping people is good."

LRP re: commenting on older fics - if anything I almost get *more* excited about comments on the stuff that's in my back catalog? With the way social media has changed how people engage with fanwork, sometimes it feels like stuff disappears into the void the minute it's not shiny and new.

also I finally put together a winter photocard holder! had to get out my glue gun to reach sufficient levels of sparkliness but I think I achieved it :3

had a very nice actual work-free weekend! saw some pretty fall leaves, celebrated a housemate's birthday, xmas shopped for family, and managed to write a teeny bit of smut XD
