Today, I’m announcing the Governor’s Redistricting Advisory Commission.

I’ve been clear from Day One: If other states are determining whether or not they have fair maps, so will Maryland.

Peonies from my farm remind me of my grandmother and great grandmothers front yard that had their sidewalks lined with peonies. Thinking of Genevieve, Bessie, and my own mother and her two sisters all who were lost to cancer this coming Mother's Day. NCI funding is critical for our mothers. #NCI

Great and important work in this impact. I experienced this firsthand as a provider to those with brain tumors-who would look for me in the waiting room .
Our research team recently explored what happens in the moments of waiting.

How do patients behave while anticipating their test results + what does that tell us?

Deeply saddened that the ENTIRE TEAM at NCI PDQ Cancer Information has been eliminated.

Our evidence-based summaries were updated throughout the year with the latest research and supported informed decision making between clinicians & patients with cancer across the US. 🇺🇸

Anyone else find it strange that a man with a 14-year heroin addiction is railing against Narcan—the lifesaving drug that helped drive a sharp drop in overdose deaths after a federal distribution program?

No one said Narcan cures addiction. It prevents funerals. That’s the point. The facts 👇🏾

If we’re serious about more efficient government and better everyday life in America - which we all should be - that means actually improving government, not cutting health care for poor people and slashing support for veterans.

…while hundreds of Marylanders showed up to voice their anger at the chaos and corruption he’s supporting in Washington DC.

Being a person with deadly, incurable cancer who is nonetheless still alive for an indefinite timeframe gives me an interesting metaphor that helps me deal with things like large-scale corruption in government or commerce.

Bear with me for a second while I try to explain.
