They are arguing, endlessly, that illegally inciting acts of terror online is ‘free speech’ while silencing dissent, targeting journalists & telling an invaded ally what he is & is not allowed to say during a live television broadcast are all fine.

I’m hearing a lot less about Aston Villa and Unai Emery these days. I guess 8th place with a -1 goal difference isn’t as fun to use to complain about Arteta over anymore.

I just think to be sent off you should have to be a total bastard. Violent conduct or utterly incessant fouling after plenty of warnings. These power trip cunts are just ruining games for no reason. We won and I feel utterly fuming, I wasted my money coming to this, game ruined by a total arsehole.

This is 100% right, I've said it so often. The reason PGMOL are so soft on violent conduct can only be a directive from the top, and when some player suffers a terrible injury, they won't take any responsibility.

Then they use media chums to gaslight us over bullshit red cards for trivial shit.
Howard Webb instructing referees and VAR to ignore serious foul play should lose him his job. Utterly appalling.

This article makes a really interesting point about luck. Arsenal of the 1930s used to be known as "Lucky Arsenal", but that seems to have been in short supply in the last 30 years. I always felt Arsene Wenger wasn't a lucky manager, in the same way this article suggests Klopp wasn't. Is Arteta?

Big test of Arteta’s game management now. Giving Sterling, Nwaneri, Jorginho and Jesus 20 minutes to press and keep possession could be genius.

Our forwards are tiring
