Arsenal have the lowest Xg allowed!? What was the match score for the match they lost? oh, yeah, they actually didn't lose or draw.... when is a win a loss? when it's Arsenal involved.

It’s a fair question. I would say last season we (Arsenal) got a few penalties that were soft. This season Lewis Skelly should have had a second yellow vs PSV.
We all knew it.
But thee are pundits now that appear to be actively looking for VAR interventions for the most innocuous things

Damn, apart from Woods and Gapko (left winger really), I think all those players have been injured for significant periods of the season so far.

Oh yeah, you’re right. I now recall that we knocked Chelsea out of the that league cup with a Reyes banger on his debut.

Didn’t Chelsea do it in 2004? When we beat them at Stamford bridge 1-0, then Wayne bridge scored the last minute winner 2-1 at Highbury. We we 2-0 ahead when we scored first in the second leg..painful

Great Article Scott. The first one I've seen outlining the impact of results for us, well done.
Assuming Merino and Odegaard are out. For this line up, I would hope to see Sterling Right wing, Trossard up front, Martinelli LW.
Calafiori LB, Partey and Lewis-Skelly double pivot.

I just think to be sent off you should have to be a total bastard. Violent conduct or utterly incessant fouling after plenty of warnings. These power trip cunts are just ruining games for no reason. We won and I feel utterly fuming, I wasted my money coming to this, game ruined by a total arsehole.

Alessia has gone to another level in the last few games. It's great to see. It also pushes Stina to up her game. IF we can maintain a winning run through the rest of the season, as trophy this season and big league challenge awaits next season.

It is a curious how some players get their best numbers in their final year of contract. Auba, van Persie, Sanchez.
Now watch Partey and Jorginho have their best seasons.

Financially, Salah is gonna win this battle no matter what way it goes. Premier league legend, sadly for us.

It’s quite different. MS11 has a nailed down starting role, always scores, always plays and hasn’t had a serious injury.

Salah is talismanic, appears to look after himself well and his numbers are up there with the best. He is not being asked to defend much in his role, so could stay at a great level for another 3 years (barring injury).
Until they have a backup on that side, there is no obvious choice.
