If this discharge petition happens - and it happens in December - an upset victory in the #TN07 Special Election for Democrat @aftynbehn.bsky.social could change the entire debate from both a political and policy standpoint.
NEW: Jeffries is talking about a discharge petition in the House for the ACA subsidies.

When #TN07 held its primary in October, GOP turnout was way down across the board.

Just another sign that an upset could happen here.

Early voting starts NOVEMBER 12TH, and we need all hands on deck to help Democrat @aftynbehn.bsky.social flip this seat!

Long-term, there’s plenty of time for recriminations around the Democratic capitulation (primaries, leadership votes, etc.).

Short-term, we can’t lose sight of our biggest goal:

Pressuring House and Senate Republicans to extend the ACA subsidies.

Like it or not, that’s where the fight is now.
November 10, 2025 at 6:05 AM
This.

For messaging purposes it’s important that we avoid saying ‘Dems caved’.

The reality is that *some Dems* caved to *all Republicans*, and we need to be careful to remind Dem voters of that.

Small comfort I know, but the last thing we want is ALL Dems to get blamed when most voted correctly.
I have to be careful and not blame all Dem Senators for the cloture vote on Sunday. It wasn’t a majority of the Dems. It was quite a few who aren’t up for reelection. So I don’t even know what they were thinking.
I will continue to support Dems - except for my Senator Fetterman who can rot in hell.
November 10, 2025 at 3:21 AM
Well we had massive turnout at the #NoKings rallies followed by a massive blue wave at the elections just 6 days ago, so with Democrats suddenly holding more cards to fight for health care than at any point since January of this year, a handful of those Democrats…caved.

I don’t get it.

Haven't been online much today, so I'm guessing this means Republicans caved and extended ACA subsidies which is what Democrats have been fighting for all along, right?

Right?!

Is hell freezing over?

For context: Keosauqua is in one of the reddest counties in #IA01. It's a pretty long drive from any large city and not part of any major Iowa media market (it's in the Ottumwa/Kirksville MO market).

I'm not able to attend. Hope someone records this.

This was sort of a remarkable quote from Mikie Sherrill, and I think a lot of Democrats running for office next year can learn from it.

Why is this important, you might ask.

Because this *could* be the cancel-out seat for #Grijalva regarding the #EpsteinFiles.

#LittleJohnson is prepared to keep the shutdown going until this election is over, in an attempt to keep the files sealed.

We MUST make sure @aftynbehn.bsky.social wins.
These are 2 maps of #TN07 (one by county, one by town).

Study them.

If you know anyone who lives IN this district, ask them to VOTE EARLY for @aftynbehn.bsky.social starting WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 12TH.

If you know anyone who lives NEAR this district, ask them to volunteer.

Interesting context here about Justice KBJ’s decision tonight.
KBJ threaded the needle thanks to CA1’s unfinished business.

-if she denied the admin stay, the full SCOTUS woulda stepped in to override her.
-if she immediately referred the case to the full Court, they coulda dragged feet.
-instead she boxed them in to act quickly once she does refer the case.

Good reminder of where things stand now in the State Supreme Courts of the 3 crucial swing states.

We have the opportunity to make Wisconsin 5-2 liberal-controlled in April.
Who cares about supreme courts?

Michigan
—Dems swept 2 seats in 2024, went from 4-3 to 5-2. A GOP justice retired this yr, so now 6-1.

Wisconsin
—Dems flipped court, 3-4 to 4-3, in 2023. Defended edge last April. Can expand it next April.

Pennsylvania
—Dems defended 5-2 majority on Tuesday.
