🛠️My nodevember went down a rabbit hole on an ambition, and now the weekend is lost. I will be back to doing a daily on Monday, maybe an easy one tomorrow. So.. hold on to your horses! Must take a quick break.

🎨 Nodevember - Day 14 - Camping

Technique here was mostly curve profiles converted to mesh for the supports, and geo with masks and extrusions galore to get the general base shape - in hidsight a lofted profile would have been easier to modify procedurally.

🎨 Nodevember - Day 13 - Cabin

A cab in a cabin - all procedural. Simliar to the monument, I used index selections to extrude elements, but this time booling. I also used material mask incides and colors set by the GN -

🎨 Day 12 - Monument
Some lofted curves, mask selection and extrusions, remesh, then shaders with normal and edge and AO masking on different noises like simplex, with some trebol moss here and there, then lit. World is in shader. Then.. seed to drive mapped variations.

🖥️I made an overlay to see the node editor center. Should I release to Bforartists?

You can turn it of/on - and change it's alpha. This helps to avoid jumping around and orientating when switching materials or trees.

🎨 Nodevember - Day 8 - Bejeweled - Timelapse:
This one had to be done in under an hour, since it was weekend. So I used the Smart Primitives, the Smart Mesh Blend by Proximity for displacement and joining the meshes, then remeshed into volumes -

This time I went with one of my favorite games, and made a slightly fun pixel art like procedural bee with GN and color attributes to shader.

🎨 Nodevember - Day 7 - Precious - Timelapse:
This piece was done during the weekly Friday Bforartists event: Being an Artists. We played together for an hour making a render. Here I decided to illustrate how I see time, how valuable I perceive it.

Here is a showcase of the stick! It probably was way too complex for what it is, but it looks remeshed though it isn't. Once you use the bake node, these run fast. Here I'm starting to hit walls with my know-how and need to "pre-cook" more assets.

🎨 Nodevember - Day 10 - Zip: Went for the 8 of Wands, the card of speed "zipping" by, and "zipped" the sticks together. This one was a bit more challenging and I stress tested my Mesh Blend by proximity for the sticks.

🎨 Nodevember - Day 9 - Soft

Some Sunday geometry nodes love from the couch. Here I wanted some moss, who h I consider not only soft looking but soft in nature.

Used a leaf shape, arrays, curves, scattering, and heart scatter and shader displacements. All but lights and positions are procedural.

For this, used the smart primitives, the smart mesh blend by proximity for displcement, then remeshed into volumes and used the new scatter asset on another smart primitive for the jewel shape.

🎨 Nodevember - Day 4 and 5 - Feather and Boquet: One hour special to catch up! This uses some procedural geo assets like the strip, the rounded pyramid and some shader patterns and scattering on procedural geo - then animated values and viola! Compositor fun too.

🎨 Nodevember - Day 6 - Rivetted: Some procedural geo with some basic SDF booleans and GN animation - using a procedural sky and galvanzied material I had lying about. Will release more walkthrough videos on this soon!

Took a bit longer this one, have no idea how Grid SDF nodes in Geometry Nodes work, and the shading was tricky. Will leave that as is now. Onwards to a double in one today!

🎨 Nodevember - Day 1 - Pumpkin: first day was with the Being an Artists event, two birds with one stone - taking some preset nodegroups and shader and compositor love to make a piece. Some of it wasn't 100% procedural, but the pumpkin was!
