i say "for arts not the charts" all the time about this show because of how terminally snubbed it is but if it doesn't win anything at the measuring quality awards show i'll start screaming and never stop
it's so obvious in all his films how much billy wilder idolized lubitsch with the desire, eroticism and gender bending in some like it hot and one, two, three, the cold war's ninotchka. and it makes me think about how amazing a new hollywood/modern lubitsch movie would be if he lived that long
