This should be the biggest story in the country right now. The sitting US President was extorting state lawmakers from his own party by threatening to withhold public money if they didn’t gerrymander for him.

I don’t know how else to say it…

Watch this. Then remember that the president doesn’t care. He cares that his old ass gets richer in the hand full of years he may have left.

And his sick rich friends. The most corrupt evil man to ever serve as president is ignoring real evil

😢 "In a report this year, the U.S. Forest Service said such mining would ultimately create a crater 1,000 feet deep and two miles wide. By comparison that’s about two times the height of the Washington Monument and the length of the National Mall."

“If the land exchange is finalized, Resolution Copper would obtain about 2,400 acres of public lands where a 1.4 billion metric ton copper ore body sits. This site, known as Oak Flat, is culturally significant to nearly a dozen tribes in the Southwest.”
A controversial land swap would allow Resolution Copper to access a multi-billion dollar ore deposit beneath public lands nestled in the Tonto National Forest. But a federal judge is ordering the U.S. Forest Service to release new details about that pending deal.

Among the many amazing/disgraceful things about America 2025 is how completely Republicans in Congress have neutered themselves.
President Trump on Wednesday signed a memorandum expanding his administration’s authority to repurpose unspent federal funds to pay members of the military during the government shutdown, escalating his challenge to the authority of Congress on spending matters.

The president gave Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth wide authority to repurpose funds to pay members of the military without approval from Congress, which has the sole constitutional authority to decide federal spending.
