Are you a woman who changed your name when you got married?

Congress is considering a bill that could make it much harder for you to vote.

Trump: Gutting National Parks—And Hiding the Evidence

National parks hit 331M visits, but Trump officials don’t want you to know. A leaked memo bans the Park Service from promoting the numbers—while firing rangers, closing visitor centers, and cutting safety.

This won’t go well—we love our parks.

TIL that the AP is a non-profit cooperative!
For those unfamiliar, the Associated Press is a non-profit cooperative formed by US news organizations that covers news for its 1,300 member papers, radio stations and TV stations. It is the foundation of the American press. It has always gotten the first seat and first question at official events.
Because AP continues to refuse to use 'Gulf of America,' it is being barred indefinitely from the Oval Office and Air Force One, but its journalists will be able to retain their credentials to the White House complex, according to Taylor Budowich, White House deputy chief of staff.

Since we know that NPR and PBS are in the defund queue let’s consider one option. We can transfer dollars from other streaming services to these two treasures for the people.
For example: You could cancel the prime and donate to your local public tv or radio station.

Loved seeing the 3/1 protests at the Nat’l Parks!
Let’s keep the protests and boycotts going. Keeping the pressure on over time is what helps, not just one day or one week. And yes, I realize that some folks have no other option than WalMart or AMZN. 1/2

“More than a quarter of the contracts listed by DOGE were actually already paid, the Journal found, saving no money. For instance, DOGE listed $168,000 in savings for terminating a contract with HHS for an Anthony Fauci museum exhibit. It had already been fully paid.”

Beyond parody.

🧵 It’s Sunday morning, and eggs are still expensive, so here’s a pro baking tip:

You can replace eggs with baking soda & vinegar. This works really well for pancakes (and even cakes, muffins, and quick breads).

“not a sprint, not a marathon, a relay” is the best way I’ve ever heard this phrased
Make your calls. Go to your town halls. Ask your state and local officials what they are doing under state and local law. Rest. Hydrate. Make soup for the hungry. Don’t let people tell you that you’re doing it wrong. Not a sprint. Not a marathon. A relay. Find your team. Thank you.

Call out/Write to the MSM news orgs for not publishing stories about peaceful protests aimed at Project 2025, including the one outside of the U.S. Treasury on Tuesday afternoon re: Musk takeover.
There is a perpetuated line that people aren’t protesting - and that is not true, at all.
