I think the biggest reason I want to bring the JM back is because a decade ago I used to talk with this person from SF who was very into offsets and guitar in general. Used to talk a lot in DMs.
When they learned I was building one, they sent me the pickups.

The next step for my little jazzmaster is sanding back all the old finish and getting it prepped for painting. I don't know if I should give it some primer since I'm going nitro lacquer on this. I think I might just stick with grain filler and sealer.
