as a railfan and a studying urban planner i’m conflicted between “keep the old and cool stuff in service cuz it’s cool” and the sane rational person opinion “hey transit shouldn’t need to do this” and “maybe the fact equipment newer then all of metra’s rollingstock is in museums is bad actually.”
