Others have said this, but add me to the list of people who want you to know that "age appropriate" interests aren't a thing. My 14yo starts her day dancing to Sesame Street's 8 Balls of Fur, and that kind of joy doesn't need to stop or transfer to something else because of age.

Your annual reminder that any treats that have black icing are probably using activated charcoal for coloring which neutralizes meds like, say, birth control pills. Ask my cousin. Quint's 6 now.
