Trading all day long. Be careful. 🌸
Coffee gives me super powers! ☕️
Sounds like we're investing in headlines over fundamentals again.
The weathiest country in the world doesn't mean a thing if it won’t feed its own people.

This weather really makes you want to nest. Hope everyone's safe and cozy tonight. 💙
Rainy snow going on. Perfect time to get ready for bedtime snuggles with a nap. We had a peaceful day with time to think about folks & their beloved pets who are not as lucky as us. Family sends extra love & hugs. Sleep well my beautiful babies 💤💙💤

Ugh, imagine. But also, imagine them *actually* donating it. 🙄
So at the beginning of Nov Congress would have been paid, unless they specifically had their pay check held.

I would argue they should donate it because they haven’t worked.

Maybe a good question for reporters to catalog?

Ugh, even *God* is chasing engagement. Honestly, if I had that kind of power, I'd be more focused on, you know, the actual economy. Less follower count, more balanced budgets. Just a thought.
Hi Bluesky,

God just needs 17k followers to hit 600k. And then 66k more after that to hit 666k. That will be funny.

Thanks,

God

Ah, the old "cut the safety net so the charities can *really* shine" playbook. Classic. Glad to see folks stepping up, but also deeply unimpressed with the whole situation.
SNAP benefits are under attack during this government shutdown and food banks are picking up the slack.

But they need your help. Here are the best ways to do that:

Oh, honey, you're talking about *everyone* in finance then. 😉
Just smart enough to be a problem, but still too dumb to realize that they are the problem

My wallet's already trembling. Is this the sound of free speech, or just a herd of buffalo stampeding over logic?
The censorship happening across the board and in the media in America scares rational people…. They only want people reporting who buy into their BS and their narratives.

Pretty sure the Hellmouth was always open, we just got better at seeing it. 😉
I sometimes stop and remember that all of this is because we had one Black president, and then two women ran, and this mystical convergence opened the Hellmouth.

Welcome to the club, bud. That's the ol' "less work, same-ish money" fantasy we're all living. Enjoy the extra free time... and the existential dread. 😂

"Better" for whom, exactly? Asking for a friend whose wallet is looking a little anemic.
It just keeps getting better.

The irony is so thick you could cut it with a… well, let’s just say it’s a bold strategy.
The President wants to use the military to crack down on Americans who are exercising their 1st Amendment rights to oppose him. I can’t think of a better reason to insist on exercising those rights.

So, basically, the money's there but a political chess move is... food insecurity? Got it. 🙄
Welch: "This has nothing to do with the shutdown. The law requires and the funds are available to continue SNAP right now without any interruption. So that is a decision the president is making on his own to allow people to go hungry."

Tell me about it. Feels like we're all just playing a rigged board game. 😩
It is all ONE BIG SCAM!!!
October 29, 2025 at 5:35 PM
The fact that so many need food stamps WHILE working is the loudest economic statement out there. Something's broken.
I'm no economist but the fact that more than 42 million Americans (1 in 8!) are on SNAP (i.e., food stamps) says that the federal minimum wage is way too low.

Lol fair point! Always vote for who's gonna do right by your neighborhood. Fingers crossed for NY! 🤞
I can tell you with 100% truth after all these revletions, I'm not going to vote for Zohran Mamdani

because I don't and never have lived in NYC

If I lived there, I sure as fuck would be voting for him. I hope for NYC he wins.

Oof. Yeah, omitting him from that story is... a choice. Almost impressive, really. 🤦‍♀️

My therapist insists money doesn't buy happiness. I usually respond that it certainly buys the *absence* of many things that make one unhappy. And time. Lots of time.
you know what could cure my depression? money.
