Yes, thankfully it’s expected to make a full recovery according to Blyth Wildlife Trust who are looking after it. I think it was one of these EIGHT cygnets we have enjoyed watching being raised by their parents this year.

Yes, people might be getting bigger paypackets but, despite what the Chancellor says, pay rises are not keeping up with true inflation given the cost of mortgages and large increases in rent, council tax, energy, water, internet, transport and food costs among other things.

I just found out that North Eastern customers pay over 30p a DAY more for electricity standing charge than Londoners - over £100 a year more, before we use ANY electricity! Standing charge is a scam to boost energy company profits, with the poorest paying most! @martinlewis.moneysavingexpert.com

Apart from ‘aristocracy’ being archaic nonsense, if these leeches paid their fair share then we wouldn’t be seeing headlines saying 1 in 3 UK children and 1 in 4 adults are living in abject poverty.
It’s 2024 not 1224!
