A reminder.....

It IS a shame but seems the way things work now. Those of us who want a kinder, safer, cleaner world for our children and grandchildren are the majority, yet the unhinged minority are the loudest voices amplified by media and listened to by government. I find it depressing and sad 😢

I’ve not got a poppy this year. First time in my life at 69 years old. I’m as patriotic as the next person. I remember my mother’s stories about the war. She was 10 in 1939 so lived through WW2. She wanted a peaceful world for us. The poppy has been hijacked by those who sow division and conflict.

I was just considering this when reading the vomit inducing and disturbing story about Elon Musk’s outrageous pay deal. I always think of rich businessmen from the past who built and put their names to schools, libraries, parks, universities etc. Just wondered where all the Musk ones were 🤔

He’ll have written 10 to the power of 12 so one zero! 😁

We’re not ALL poorer though. The 1% that politicians care about, the corporate and media owners and executives who put them in power and keep them there, are many times richer than they were 15 years ago. Austerity was always a scam to funnel money to the wealthy off the backs of the working class!
