I was a lifelong Labour voter - a traditional fit for an advice worker. I do not agree w the extreme right wing policies. Final straw has been the persecution of disabled people and those on low income, in order to protect the people who line their pockets *waves @zackpolanski.bsky.social*

If the richest people in the UK had paid their taxes at the top 47% rate that everyone else has to there would be no debt.

75% of debt is owed to banks, billionaires and their corporations.

You should write it all off as they already stolen it all in tax avoidance.

Still reeling from the Stanford report on Brexit. Reduced GDP by up to 8% and investment by as much as 18%. The UK Treasury would have £40 billion more each year if Britain had remained in the EU. Devastating self-immolation.

Trump is a full-fledged supporter of Putin & not entitled to any voice on Ukraine.
Ukraine & Europe should just ignore the Kremlin proposal that Trump embraces as his.“

5-7 million killed by deliberate starvation and Ukrainians were particularly targeted by Stalin.

It is estimated that nearly 4 mill Ukrainians were deliberately starved to death by Stalin.

It’s important to understand the history to understand the present
One of the worst atrocities and one of the least discussed.
Today is Holodomor remembrance day, one of the worst human rights atrocities of the 20th century.

Johnson spent years charming, bluffing, and backstabbing his way to the top.

Positioning himself as a latter-day Churchill when the moment came and leadership was desperately needed, he showed us who he was...

And thousands died.

Farage can now be easily boxed in to a corner where his only ‘defence’ becomes: “Yes I spouted Kremlin propaganda & Putin worship but, unlike Nathan Gill, I didn’t need bribes to do it.”
It is, once again, a question of whether interviewers have the temerity to shut down his whining obfuscations.

Ukraine is on the brink of an historic betrayal by Trump to Putin.

Keir Starmer must bring our European allies together to back Zelensky, starting by seizing frozen Russian assets to support Ukraine.

Putin and Trump is the reincarnations

of Hitler and Stalin.

Adolf Hitler double-crossed Joseph Stalin

by invading the Soviet Union in June 1941,

breaking the non-aggression pact

they had signed less than two years earlier.

In all seriousness Donald Trump is insane.

Five corporations control 90% of the US media market.

Airlines merged from 12 major carriers in 1980 to 4 today.

Four giants control 80% of meat processing.

A handful of companies control the pharmaceutical industry.

The evidence of corporate concentration is everywhere.

The US needs to be removed from any and all negotiations involving Ukraine. Under Trump it is a proxy of Russia. World leaders, especially Europeans, need to regain independence of their national defence.

Could prob accept some pretty draconian small boat policies if there was a genuine safe route policy alongside it. So far we have no details at all.
