Is the government going to sit and watch while the #PalestineAction hunger strikers die? Is most of the media going to carry on ignoring them? Just how callous has the Establishment become?

No olives for us this year, seems the worst harvest in 20 years in the province of Imperia. We are planning to move, so this would have been our last harvest. Making our own olive oil has been one of the most fulfilling things we have ever done. And yes, bloody hard! Good luck, carpe diem!
Doing the olive harvest. Hard work but always sociable & rewarding. [Not our land obvs, just helping friends.]

In Italy all holders of public office, Members of Parliament, Mayors etc. are legally obliged to publish their tax returns and list of assets (shares, properties etc.) every year. The principle is that if you hold public office this information is of public interest.
Nigel Farage says his tax affairs are ‘nobody’s business’.

Oh yes it very much is our business.

"Rake" might be useful. Like the Nazis did in Italy to capture partisans ("rastrellamento"). Yes, we are moving in that direction.
"Challenging" "Sieve"
The Times editorial line: "sieve" the entire population so we can put 100s of thousands of people into camps.

"Removing a city’s worth of people would be an extended exercise. Identity cards would be a must if the population was to be sieved into legitimate and illegitimate camps"

Just received news that 27 people have been arrested in Parliament Square under the Terrorism Act 2000 for holding signs saying "I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action".
This is real police state behaviour.

On LBC @zoejardiniere.bsky.social lists 3 previous instances where military aircraft have been targeted by campaigners in order to prevent them being used in war crimes, and she describes the govt banning Palestine Action as terrorists as an abuse of state power.

Well said.

A couple of weeks ago I was wakened by the sound of a pack of wolves in the valley below. Quite a visceral feeling, but you do feel you are part of something not really in your control.
