Finished Phrolova's main story quest yesterday, kinda split on how to feel about it.
On one hand it does tap into Rover's past and builds up what I assume is the next part of story, on the other hand there were many prolonged parts which felt like trying too hard to make me feel bad for the villain

RIP Shunsaku Tamiya, age 90, the chairman of legendary modelmaker Tamiya. He didn't found the company, but started working there in 1958, just four years after its founding, and helped it shift from its original line of wooden models into the plastic kits it is so well known for today.

I've picked up Forbidden Lands: Book of Beasts expecting it to have maybe a few monster descriptions, but instead inside I found rules for playing this game solo.
I didn't expect I'd enjoy solo tabletops yet here I am at "session 4", going to work while thinking of ways to develop the story further.

Went back to playing Withering Waves a little bit, and glad I did - the continuation of 2.0 main story was really neat.
I think there were some points in the story that could be explored more, but overall I'm satisfied.

Recently I've been hosting a Fabula Ultima campaign (we are at the brink of session 6) - currently it's one of my favorite tabletop rpg systems out there.

Overall MH Wilds beta feelings: saying I'm excited is an understatement, I will play this game even if it were to run at 15 fps while setting my PC on fire. I played the beta for almost 20 hours at this point, and tomorrow I'll add a few more in coop

Still playing the new WuWa update story, I like it a lot. The pacing feels just right, Zani made a really good impression on me especially when it comes to her English VA, so far I fought the first three bosses and I liked all of them

I never thought of how I would enjoy spending time with my family as much as I did, living on my own really put it into perspective.

Thinking of just the vibe alone, my favorite generation of Monster Hunter games has to be the 3rd one... that being said I don't think I could let go of jumping attacks, mounting and fluidity of movement of later entries
