The fascists are organising a carol concert in London to "draw attention to unchecked immigration and the fading of our cultural heritage".

What would Woody do?

Write an anti-fascist Xmas carol and sing it at the counter demo.

First time I've seen this in its entirety. Seems still relevant today.

After the rain, bird feeders were busy with goldfinchs, blue tits, great tits and a bullfinch. Wood pigeons and a black bird were picking up the scraps. No sign of the athletic rat for a couple of weeks after I secured the feed tops and greased the poles. Can't say I'm missing it.

I just want to tip my hat to the crack team of White House economists who were able to discover--in just a few short days--that the U.S. is dependent on China for smartphones, computers and semiconductors.

I can't deny that Arteta is an effective manager and knows more about football than I ever will. But what a whingy g1t. You never hear Eddie complaining about the vicissitudes of fortune. He just accepts that sometimes things go against you and moves on. #nufc

I can’t keep quiet any longer. I’m sure the position on benefit cuts is as complicated as can be argued but I was brought up to believe that the Labour Party was set up to provide a helping hand ‘from cradle to grave’ as Billy Bragg eloquently put it.

Lack of encouragement and making a permanent annoying noise (to rats) hasn't moved it on. Might have to move into a more drastic measure unless anyone has a better idea. #rat

I'm not a fan of rats, but while I was eating my breakfast this morning, a very smart brown rat climbed up the bird feeder and started on the fat balls. It was quite a pretty sight. No photos, I'm still not a fan!

Last week end on a very sad note, but Sunday made up for it. Travelling back north with a worn out voice today. #NUFC

I've been listening to Planet Waves recently, and Dirge is a stand-out track for me. Strange to find such negativity surrounded by the positivity of the other tracks. Seems to reflect the world today.

As I sit in a supermarket car park, I wonder what the average usage rate of the car is in the UK. Any evidence of this?

I remain fascinated by the fact that for live performance Dylan rarely draws from his rich pool of early yet left behind lyrics.

Dignity could have completely different lyrics every night for two weeks!

I realize many were abandoned for good reason but there's genuine gold in there.

"There will come a moment where the West has to say to Donald Trump, sorry, you're just spouting what Putin thinks, and we can't allow this to happen."

But when will that be?

In a press conference from his Mar-a-Lago home, Donald Trump has said Ukraine is to blame for Russia’s invasion, and that it shouldn’t be represented at peace talks with Vladimir Putin.

'We haven't been able to pass water' accurate comment from John Anderson at the Man City v NUFC game. Been a long time since I heard that one.

Just been to see A complete Unknown. Interesting. I was asked if I enjoyed it, I'm not sure. Several songs touched me differently than before and I've got loads of recordings and seen Dylan live a good number of times over the years

I think, at this moment in time, Up to me is one of Bob Dylans best songs. But I reserve the right to change my mind later

This morning I took the shrink wrap off an LP (The Who - Live from Amsterdam) so carefully that it could go back on. It'll never go back on and it's a gatefold sleeve! I always do this as I hate to change anything new. Weird

I’m not chatting, just thinking out loud. Actually just thinking and typing. Probably not even thinking much.
