If Fatage really wanted to encourage debate on important issues, why not raise the issues of defence spending versus triple locked pensions or preventative health care against long-term medical care. Those are real public policy issues to address

I feel sorry for Isak having broken promises. Following NUFC for 60 years, I know first hand what if feels like when owners and players break their promises to me. Didn't stop me giving my all for the club!

Couldn't put it down. I've been studying Richard all but was finding it hard work. This book helped me see through the fake news from the Tudors. It's still a great story even if you know nothing of English history

When Labour came to power in 1945 the top rate of tax was 99.25%. It’s now 50%. While this is a very crude analysis and ignores the numbers paying, a wealth tax or a higher band for the very rich, even for a temporary period, surely must have been considered. Where is the argument against it?

Cutting benefits, particularly disability benefits, just seems wrong in a land where there are some very rich people. Giving money to the poor who spend it on necessities has got to be better than allowing those with more than enough to spend it on luxuries abroad or tax havens abroad. Am I wrong?
