The Never Ending Rough and Rowdy Ways Tour continues!
Bob Dylan/Ani DiFranco in Wallingford, CT 1997. She played Do Re Mi, if I recall correctly. Rick Danko guested on Wheels on Fire and I Shall Be Released.

i've come around to the utility of the livenation-owned setlist.fm, but i still way prefer a loving fan-made setlist/chronology page. i wrote a bit about why & made a list of a few dozen favorites that i return to often (or just thought were swell). what did i miss? jessejarnow.com/2025/12/a-pe...

Web search interest in "Bob Dylan" from 2004 to present. The Nobel Spike is quite something. The early 2025 peak is presumably the A Complete Unknown movie.

Still in awe at the work that made it possible for bobserve to list opening and on-the-bill acts at more than 1,800 Bob Dylan concerts.

More than 400 different acts, including ~250 one-timers.

Amazing!
Another highlight, the wild new arrangement of My Own Version of You that emerged in Glasgow (on the first night it seemed to be new to the band too!)

Feels like all of us music writers should check in with Dylan's office to see if Bob wants to provide a quote, no matter who the subject is, just to be on the safe side. Tortoise, Weird Al, Lana Del Rey - maybe Bob's got something to say!

(Bob also says before this, "It’s hard to talk about Willie without saying something stupid or irrelevant, he is so much of everything")

In the latest episode of the Dylan Revisited podcast, I look back at The Bootleg Series Vol. 9, which collects the demos recorded by Bob Dylan for his music publishing company over a three-year period from 1962-64.

Let's revisit The Witmark Demos.

this still sounds so incredibly miraculous, even 25+ years after its official release with the correct date etc. can't fathom how hard this must've hit when it came out in the early '70s.
