Fun(?) fact: Bob Dylan has now played "Goodbye Jimmy Reed" more times live than:

* Visions of Johanna
* I Want You
* Not Dark Yet
* Blind Willie McTell
* The Man in Me
* My Back Pages
* Gates Of Eden
* Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues

Literally no one picked a song off the album about his electric car or the one where he talks to a robot he bought online? Cowards!

For real tho excited to dig into this

For years, advertising has been how Stereogum made money to pay its writers. While we made progress moving away from that model, Google AI search has decimated the business almost overnight. Today we relaunch with a greater focus on subscription. We’d love your support: stereogum.com/2478838/ster...

This is a wild read. He basically claims credit for inventing the concept of dancing (??) and uttered one of the most wonderful sentences I've read in a minute: "They're racist against the Chub"!

The story of how these recordings were made requires no Dylan fandom at all to find fascinating. Technical wizardry and human creativity at its best, and obviously, if you like Dylan even a bit, this is essential.

Sure indie bands have to wait months to get their records pressed but it was worth it to get eight different versions of "Take On Me" pressed on red vinyl for Record Store Day

Dylan's setlist isn't changing this fall, but the arrangements are. "It's All Over Now Baby Blue" was grooving full-band one night in Brussels, then serene near-solo-piano the very next show in Paris.

Here's the same stanza from each to compare:
