£715 million on a political PR stunt which everyone knew was absolutely pointless. Just think what that could have been spent on to actually help people, locals and people seeking asylum.
In July, I FOI'd the Home Office for the full breakdown of spending on the Rwanda scheme

"We are moving the release date of 5.0 one week earlier to: April 14th, 2025. This means that code freeze for this release will also be one week earlier; March 3rd, 2025.
This is to remove a conflict with Easter bank/public holidays"
