So, not technically my final drawing of 2024, but definitely my last sketchbook entry of the year. After recently doing that profile of Count Orlok from memory and missing the mark a bit, i decided to refresh my memory and do an another somewhat more screen-accurate take on Eggers’ NOSFERATU.

Last night, I went to a Comics Reading event at an indie comics store/flower shop over in Northern KY. I never realized things like this even existed, especially not in this area. It was a delightful experience, and I walked out of there with a fat sack of new books that I’m excited to sit and read.

It’s been a while since I’ve tinkered with it, but for a while, I was teaching myself 3D modeling in @NomadSculpt on the iPad. Every day, I’d watch a @southerngfx tutorial, and then go apply what I’d learned to my model. Little by little, I started to figure it out.

If I was a billionaire, I would personally make sure that there was perpetual funding for The Muppet Show, and make sure that it was immune to cancellation. It should not be treated as a business, because it is a public service.
