i think what makes it even funnier is that 1 year prior they deliberately TRIED to manufacture yaoi en masse with that boyband project and it flopped immensely / barely made a dent on the KDA fame and then when they werent even trying, completely unprepared, jayvik got #1 ship on ao3 2025
