To be fair, many people have acted like the law doesn't exist for quite awhile. Right now, though, that behavior is trending. It's a fad.

I'm old enough to remember "epic" becoming trendy. There's gonna be a term coined for lawlessness, and it's gonna blow up.

The idea of "climbing the ladder",...

Everyone isn't going to climb it. Some of us are going to have to stay (or be made to stay) at the bottom and hold the ladder in place while others climb it.

What does it mean when I show up at work, sit down, and sigh, "Fuck"?

'Cause I've been doing that all this year, so far.

Laugh all you want: this reinforces my view that Musk is the Vader to Trump's Emperor.

Vader had no "official" status in the gov't. Neither does Musk.

Vader utilizes gov't resources. SO DOES MUSK!

He personally obey the leader's will, but without the rubber stamp of gov't.
The new iconic photo that i predicted ultimately destroys the relationship:

I've told my family that there will be a "national emergency" declared by Trump, which will lead him to either a) declare a national state of emergency via executive order (not legal, but likeliest), or b) get the Republican Congress to do it (actually legal, but not likely).

He will take over.

'The Sims 2' soundtrack is essential to a future documentary on Millennials.

I won't be taking any questions.

I started going to my future wife's place to play her GameCube. And no, that's not innuendo.
How much was GameCube part of your gaming journey?

1st reaction: "Why doesn't anyone GET IT?!" 2nd reaction: "They do, and they're fighting it." Final reaction: "Then good luck!"

Corruption always perseveres. You can delay it, or alter its goal to a point. But it ALWAYS wins.
Look at human history. Government ALWAYS decays. ALWAYS.

It wild to me that DOGE would actually send “contracts” with shoddy and suspect legal language to federal career attorneys that even non-lawyers would recognize as bullshit.

This'll seem idiotically upbeat, but I fight hard the thinking of "I gotta go to work."

I make it a point to tell myself, "You GET to go to work."

•Imposing beliefs isn't freedom of religion.
•Money isn't fundamental; liberty is.

Saw a reel talking about the TB outbreak in Kansas. Had a sad epiphany:

Many hate living in good times, because they know their ancestors CAN'T. So if they can't, we shouldn't.

The very concept of progress is an offense to past generations, is their belief.

So pathetic, and sad.

"54-40 or fight!"

Wow, I guess what they say about history is true: it's the same song, just a different chord.
Canada is a “country that should be a (US) state,” reiterates President Trump. “They’ll get much better treatment, much better care and much lower taxes, and they’ll be much more secure.”

(Had a thought, needed to post it before I forgot.)

Do you do your job, or do you work for them?

There's a difference.

I'm one of "those people" who say the 21st century began in 2001. But for the sake of this post...

The first 25 years of this century (2000-2024) suck. Like, "suck bags of dicks" sucks.

Monday will be an installation.

That's not a good thing.

If the QB/passer is so critical to the NFL, then there's only one solution: redshirt them. They can be pressured, but not tackled.

Having said that: no sneaks, no designed runs. They only pass, or hand off to rushers. They can scramble behind the LOS, but that's all.

(This is tongue-in-cheek.)

The way the mega-rich get their wealth is the true problem. I don't mean lobbying politicians, or underpaying workers.

I mean, the only way anyone loses wealth is if someone else takes it through entrepreneurship.

The catch is: not all of us wanna be entrepreneurs. So what do we do?
