Reposting my retopo thread here on bluesky:

So I see a lot of questions regarding hard surface retopology or low poly for game art and I felt like I might be able to help a bit and explain some things as well as give some simple examples

Back from lil break and got straight to work on the Fuel tank.
Matching the interior and the exterior was a bit complicated but I managed.
The harder was trying to get the least amount of pinching and placing the poles, I think it works tho.

I redid some old renders of the french revolver for my portfolio, because I felt like the presentation wasn't doing it justice (for reference the 4th pic is one of the old renders)

Software used : Plasticity, Blender, Substance 3D Painter, Affinity Photo, Unreal Engine

Some pampas grass added today. Every time I make foliage the process is a tad different. Guess it takes time to figure out what works and what not for oneself :D

high-quality, slightly custom design remake of the fallout 4 10mm pistol i was doing back in 2019 as a mod but never finished; got about halfway through the different attachments before life got in the way. might try to find some in-game shots too if i still have some kicking around

Hey! Thanks for checking out my latest environment! I started this project as a place to experiment on some cel-shading techniques using Unreal Engine 5, and I ended up really liking the vibes it put ...
