Location of the photo on the back of the first New York Dolls LP. It was the long-time home of Gem Spa newsstand, including when the photo was taken of the Dolls. Gem Spa closed in 2020 during the pandemic. Corner of Second & St. Marks Pl. Maybe @chrissteller.bsky.social will have a local angle.
