Here’s a good one for TeamMassSpec (I hope!)- I’m working on a small project which involves enrichment and MRM of circulating neuropeptides (from blood plasma).
Most are hydrophilic peptides (< 3 kDa), 1 is amphipathic (~60 kDa).

#massspecsos Best way/software for peptide mapping from limited proteolysis or full proteolysis experiments for a single, purified recombinant protein? Something that I can use/search against the Fasta for so the search would be our protein and contaminants with Thermo data.

Wait, The Proteomics Show is one years old today?!!! 7300 listens later and no one has told us to stop, but @proteomicsnews.bsky.social said that would accomplish the opposite anyways, so 🤷‍♂️.

Glad people are liking it, we definitely are enjoying doing it. So thanks!

Okay my MS peeps- I feel like I am going crazy. I *thought* I read there is a way to calculate a "threshold"/limits for significant fold-changes in a data set based on CV/confidence intervals or something. Arbitrarily going with 2-fold change in abundances as sig always makes me uncomfortable.
