In fact I’m somewhat surprised that things like this didn’t happen sooner, and that Trump hasn’t yet actually apprehended his Democratic opponents in politics.

The stockpiles argument is nonsense - Colby & Hegseth are 🇷🇺 assets just like Trump. Refusing to provide Patriot missiles & other means of air defence while 🇷🇺 was hammering 🇺🇦 with over 500 long range missiles & drones a day was diabolical. The 🇺🇸 has worked hard to strip 🇺🇦 of any advantage against 🇷🇺.

These attacks on civilian industry give me the impression that Russia is not just trying to demoralize Ukrainians, but also destabilize the economy by making it unattractive for (foreign) investors.
And when the economy is destabilized, political instability will follow easing a political takeover.

Russia has once again struck a civilian target - this time, a factory in Dnipro that produces hygiene products. Essentially, they targeted toilet paper, napkins, and diapers. This is what constitutes a "military target" for Russia. Not tanks, not weapons - napkins.
