What kind of cargo was on that train, that it was important enough to hit it 12 times? 😳

Me too.

Especially when going for birds, and putting the camera in burst-mode shooting. 😅

My catalog is over 130,000 images, spread over multiple volumes (not all loaded and not all images have previews created).
Most are raw files, some DNG or TIFF files.

And they celebrated it by bringing water to the cities in the Donbas. After their own war had cut off the vital water supplies.

Well, that is interesting. Good to know.

Perhaps I should split up my catalog too!

"Without wars or grief" ... until Putin inexplicably somehow suddenly finds Russia fighting in the Baltics, Moldova, and taking over Georgia "peacefully".

I also use DxO Photolabs from time to time.

However I know that neither works on Linux, so darktable and RawTherapee are probably your only options then.

I have everything in a single catalog as well, which is growing pretty big.

I did try darktable a few years ago and couldn't really get the hang of it.

I did an evaluation back then of which raw processor gave best results for me and C1 came out on top, which is why it's still what I use primarily

So.... No "See you in Valhalla", then?

Of course, the reverse side of NATO air defence cover over Western Ukraine might also be that Russia will now concentrate all of its attacks on the Eastern part of Ukraine and the frontlines, much more than before, and that cities like Kharkiv, Dnipro, Slavyansk etc will suffer even more.

I still see this as progress: a gradually increased deterrence-posture towards Russia, that frees up Ukraine's own AD to better defend the east and that should make Russia realize that there are consequences of poking NATO.

I was going to suggest asking for advice on Paul Reiffer's Facebook group, there are a lot of knowledgeable C1 users there and also sometimes some employees, but if yuo already went through that, then I don't expect this group could give any more advice than you already had. :-(

That is really weird!

Do you have support on the version that you are using?
September 30, 2025 at 3:09 PM
Ugh, that's always a pain. I hope you kept regular backups of the catalog that can be restored so you don't lose too much of your recent edits?
