Tested 3D printing some lattice structures (just Graphene for now), and it works really quite well! Now I want to print another large Graphene sheet to visualise twisted Bilayer Graphene and create models of some lattices myself.

And back to Hamburg, reading The Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin. Will take the afternoon to analyse the results of some compute jobs from the weekend, easing into the week a bit.

When I was a student employee at my university’s data centre I also got the tour of the server rooms and the tape backups (plural, because we need them at multiple places). Was so fascinating to see.
